Process Design - Each new project, whether an upgrade, expansion, or grassroots site, is examined as an individual project with individual requirements. At AEF we do not merely design to the equipment, we apply years of practical know-how to design the most cost effective solution for the specific application. The extra time is taken to address issues that our pertinent to our customer i.e. repeatability, throughput, accuracy, degradation, maintenance, etc. The final design is one that both our team and the customer is confident will provide the maximum return on investment. Many of our customers return to AEF time and again for the real value yield by this approach.

Piping
& Structural - Piping Runs and Structural Supports
Platforms are an integral portion of many projects. Our piping runs
are designed to minimize elbows and thereby reduce degradation. Pipe size
is chosen to reduce the terminal velocity of the material. Materials
of construction are carefully selected to minimize maintenance and cost,
as experience dictates. Isometrics are developed to ensure proper
routing, avoid interferences, and
ensure that appropriate quantities are ordered to ensure a smooth
installation. Structural Piping Supports and Access Platforms,
Stairways, and Ladders are designed to meet OSHA and applicable local
standards.

Equipment
Design - AEF's highly experienced
engineers can design equipment to fit space requirements or special design
constraints. Our special designs include Skate Board/Snow Board
Presses, Packing Tables, Forklift Ramps, Infeed Hoppers, and many more. |

Mechanical
Engineering - AEF's staff of engineers has designed equipment
& systems for a variety of applications. Each engineer works
closely with our CAD operators to ensure a comprehensive design.
Ease of accessibility and maintenance is a key in the layout of all
equipment because down time is lost time. |
